Lisa Klein Pearo
Lisa Klein Pearo, DBA conducts research on information search, learning, and decision making in interactive environments. She has worked as a consultant in conducting market research, exploring consumer behavior on the Internet, and in designing Internet marketing strategies; has taught MBAs, Executive MBAs and executive education at Harvard University, Rice University and Tulane University. At the Hotel School, she is Adjunct Assistant Professor, Marketing and Tourism. Pearo has taught the core marketing course to undergraduate and graduate students, as well as marketing management in the PDP program.

Lauren Walker
Lauren Walker is the Internet Marketing Manager at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Walker initiates and manages all online marketing for the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas with the goal of strategically maximizing response rates, customer loyalty, and revenue generation. This marketing mix includes a combination of integrating search, display, and email marketing as well as social media to support a variety of business needs. Prior to the Hard Rock, Walker worked for a Las Vegas based advertising agency in both web design and online campaign management, focusing primarily on the hospitality industry.

Walker has a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Science in advertising with a minor in psychology from Northern Arizona University.

Mark G. Johnson
Mark G. Johnson is the Founder and Publisher of HotelChatter and Jaunted. Johnson is a ten-year Internet business veteran who worked for web giants such as CNET and Travelocity during their formative years, and went on to found his first Internet company in 1999.

Currently, Johnson is the publisher of travel-centric daily web magazines, including HotelChatter and Jaunted. Launched in January 2004, HotelChatter, is a daily web magazine chronicling hotel stories around the world. Jaunted, which was launched in July 2005, is a pop culture travel guide for a generation that possesses a small attention span.

His travel publications have been featured in TIME magazine, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, and many other popular offline and online media publications.

Both Jaunted and HotelChatter are updated at least 10 times daily, use the weblog format and are published by SFO*MEDIA, Mark's web properties consortium.

Kelly McGuire
Kelly A. McGuire is the Product Marketing Manager for Gaming and Hospitality at SAS and has 18 years of experience in the hospitality industry, both in operations and IT. Before joining SAS, McGuire consulted with Harrah’s Entertainment to develop restaurant revenue management strategies for casinos in Harrah’s major markets. She also was a senior consultant at Radiant Systems. McGuire holds a BS from Georgetown University and a Master of Management in hospitality from the Cornell School of Hotel Administration. She also has a PhD from the Cornell School of Hotel Administration, focused on nontraditional applications of revenue management. McGuire’s research has been published in Cornell Hospitality Quarterly and she has conducted several executive seminars on capacity management and revenue management.
