JMP Add-ins
JMP 9 introduces an add-in architecture that makes creating and distributing extensions to JMP easy. This makes JMP a platform for creating new analytic tools. It also makes it easy to add functionality that we haven’t thought of or didn’t have cycles to create. Explore our featured add-ins below, or check out the full list in the JMP File Exchange.
Please note: downloading of JMP add-ins requires that you have a sas.com profile.
Featured Add-Ins
Interactive Binning
Create discrete groups from continuous data using this add-in. A histogram shows the distribution of values for your variable. Add a cutpoint to the histogram and drag it to set the cutpoint value. After adding all your cutpoints, you save your groups to a new column in your data table.
Custom Map Creator
With the Custom Map Creator, you can easily create custom shapes used by Graph Builder. This add-in creates two tables to define the shapes: an XY table and a Name table.
Stratified Split
This add-in creates or updates a column that splits the rows in a table according to specified proportions within each level of a selected column. This can be useful when building predictive models and the number of rows for each level of the selected column is not roughly equal.
WMS Explorer
This add-in helps the user explore publicly available Web Map Service (WMS) servers. The user can see what layers a WMS server supports and view maps delivered by the server.
